Early Career and Education
Larry Sass, the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Laurence J. Sass, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University before receiving his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
Larry started his career as a prosecutor in the Kings County (Brooklyn, NY) District Attorney’s Office, where he litigated felony trials and hearings in addition to presenting evidence to grand juries, and handling every type of criminal case, including murders. Initially, as a Supervising Assistant District Attorney in the Economic Crimes and Arson Bureau and later as Counsel to the Public Corruption Bureau, Larry worked on long-term investigations and white-collar crimes.
Business Attorney
Eventually, after leaving the district attorney’s office, Larry concentrated on business law as a civil litigator handling trials, appeals and settlements while still maintaining his criminal law practice. Due to his varied background, Larry maintains a unique position as a business attorney who is also an experienced trial lawyer and courtroom advocate.
